Notes

Dora Clara Dimig was the oldest girl in the John Dominick Dimig-Mary Schubert Dimig family of nine children. She did much to look after the younger ones, especially after her mother died in 1908. She and Henry Bopp settled in the area of Muscatine, Iowa and raised a family of six children. When my sister, Joan, and I were young teenagers, Aunt Gertie took us by train to visit the Bopps in Muscatine, Iowa. The trip was one of the highpoints of our young lives. by Carol Wilson
