OBITUARY MRS. MICHAEL ENDRES FEBRUARY 21, 1902 Mary Katherine Endres, relict of Michael Endres, passed away at the home of her son, Vincent Endres, of Charlotte township, on Tuesday night at midnight, her demise being due to a general breaking down of the physical forces. Deceased was born in Bavaria, Germany, September 12, 1823, and was married to Michael Endres nearly sixty years ago. In 1873 with their family they came to America and came directly to Chatsworth, where Mrs. Endres had since resided. (NOTE: ship’s manifest indicates they came here in 1874.) Mr. Endres died on December 5, 1900. Five children survive, Ellizabeth, who is single and an invalid at the home of her brother, Vincent, in Charlotte; Julius, of Palisade, Neb., Mary, wife of J. A. Conn of Clinton, Mo.; Kate, wife of Fred Deitz of Clinton, Mo. The funeral services were held at SS. Peter and Paul’s church this (Friday) morning, Rev. J.J. Quinn officiating and the remains laid to rest in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
