12 Jan 2010 I have come into possession of a Clemens family photo album. It has pictures of Sam Clemens. One from Speers Studio of him at age 18. One seems to be cut from a poster and two others that apear to be original photos. There are pictures of family as well. One is called “Grandma Clemens” Husband Casper. Casper (Gasper?) was a Lawer and Politician in Topeka Kansas. A 1918 picture of Catherine Clemons. A man named only Paul who was in wwI. Also many pics of Kennawick WA From 1911 or so. All of the photos are pre wwII. I would like to know more about this find. Zac Ward @msn.com

18 Jan 2010 Hello Mr. Ward,

You posted information about a Clemens family photo album on genealogy.com. This is my family. I would love to have a copy of the album. The man named “Paul” would be Paul Lemmon. You can see additional pictures of this family on my web site to confirm that its my family. My Great Grandmother, Grace (Clemens) Lemmon, was the daughter of Gasper Christopher Clemens. He was an attorney in Topeka, KS. He died in 1906. His Obit is posted on my site below. Just click on the blue text in my site for additional information. Several of the “Lemmon” family members moved to Washington the the early 1900’s. I have been under the impression that they went to Seattle, WA but never sure exactly sure of location.

If you want to part with the album, I would be happy to pay you for your efforts to ship it in addition to your investment. The pictures in this album are very important to me. Please E-mail me when you get a chance.

Thank you in advance for you consideration,

Roger Horstman No. California @horstmanfamily.org
