Kenneth “Ken” Lemmon, born July 29, 1933 in Seattle, Wash. to Paul and Gretchen Lemmon, went home to be with the lord on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002. He graduated from Ballard High School in 1951, served on active duty in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and attended the University of Washington. In 1956, he met and married Patsy Remsberg. His working career spanned several trades, but all included desigh, drafting, estimating, and quality control. He retired from Seattle Refrigeration in 1995. He coached his sons in youth Soccer in Mountlake Terrace, Wash. for 7 years, taking the team to State Championship several times. Pand and Ken were active in church, teaching marriage ministries for several years. they traveled after retirement enjoying many family camp outs and different places and enjoyed taking grandkids with them. Ken leaves his wife of 46 years, Patsy; sons Greg of Phoenix, Ariz., and Doug (Susie) of Gold Bar Wash.; daughter Heidi Ramos of Arlington, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Mike, Kenny, Willy, danny, Katie, and Kevin; one brother and numerous relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Snohomish County, Christian Family Center or Everett Gospel Mission. Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at Christian Family Center, 788 North Smith Road, Camano Island.
