He was united in marriage to Augusta Eggert and three children were born to this union. They lived in the Lowden community their entire married life with the exception of a few years spent in Durant. The deceased at one time was associated with the late Harry Puck in the grocery business here. He also farmed south of Lowden. A few years ago Mr and Mrs Penningroth moved to Lowden.
