Notes
Hi Roger, (11-11-2008) My source for the siblings of Gaspar is the 1850 United States Federal Census of Xenia, Greene County, Ohio, Dwelling 490, Family 522, taken July 19, 1850. I rechecked this census and it shows that Eliza Jennie Barnes was 41 when the census was taken. That would put her birth about 1809 as you suggest. Dean Johnston @juno.com
I am trying to find out the name of the WIFE of the above mentioned HENRY BARNES. HENRY went to Xenia, OH, from KY and lived there the rest of his life. He built many of the early houses in Xenia, was a Captain in the militia and a member of the M.E. Church. His brother-in-law was DANIEL DEAN. HENRY had 7 children: HENRY who was sheriff of Greene Co. during the Civil War and treasurer for two terms; DEAN; ANDREW; JOHN; MRS. HANNAH BUCKLES; MRS. ELIZA J. CLEMANS; and MRS. ELIZABETH DAVIS. Any information is greatly appreciated.
