Dora always had the best homemade cookies when we went to visit. Paul and Dora lived in Battle Creek, IA. They lived in a large two story house on a corner about one block North of down town Battle Creek, Iowa.
Dorathea (Colshan) Horstman, 83, of Battle Creek, Iowa, daughter of John Colshan and Reke Lafrentz, was born in Illinois on June 3, 1891, and passed away on Jan. 9, 1975, at Hartley Memorial Hospital, Battle Creek, Iowa. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Battle Creek, Ia.
Survivors include 2 sons, Gordon of Garfield, Minnesota, and Edward of Loveland, Colorado; 2 brothers, Fred Colshan of Ida Grove, Iowa; and William Colshan of Correctionville, Iowa; 2 sisters, Florence Petersen of Ida Grove, and Gertrude Fletcher of Cherokee, Iowa; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
