Charles Paddison, seems to have been something of a wanderer as he is known to have farmed at Gelli (Gellidochlithe?), Llandovery, Drehir, Blaenhonddan (where Rosa was born) and Erw Saithe before retiring to Bronleigh (sp?) in Neath. For a while he was manager of the Briton Ferry Lunatic Asylum.
