Mrs Mary Horstmann - Obituary Mary Theresa Diimig, daughter of Henry and Kunigunda Diimig was born June 4, 1878 in Chatsworth Illinois and died May 13, 1951 at the Ida Grove hospital. She was 72 years, 11 months and 13 days old. She came with her parents when a small child to a farm east of Danbury in Ida County. She lived there until June 21, 1910 when she was married to Aug. D. Horstman. They made their home in Ida Grove until March. 1920, when they moved to a farm south of Battle Creek where they resided until March 1940. Since then she had lived in Ida Grove. Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Leonard A Horstman of Norwalk California, Fred H. Horstman of Battle Creek and Cecel M. Aaron of Tulsa Oklahoma. Also eight grandchildren, one brother, Frank Diimig of Danbury and one sister. Mrs. Ben Schimmer of Holstein. Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart church Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev Father Harry Dailey officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Pall bearers were Cyril McDermott, P. C. Harrigan, Adam Roeder, Joe Dessel, Theo Murphy and Ray Bresnahan.
