Notes
1787 Robert Douglas in his will (Campbell Co, VA Will Book I, 263) names daughter, Polly Clemens.
Some information says Polly Clemens was married to Gaspar Clements. Swarn statement by Robert Douglas says Gaspar Clemens was his brother in law and Robert Douglas served as a sub in the Revolutionary War. Other records indicate Gaspar Clements married Mary Caldwell. Was he married twice?
