Notes

1 NOTE The Dèumig family home in Roden, and the Catholic Church they attended are pictured in Images. The house was still occupied by relatives in the 1970’s. The Church dates back into the 1600’s. Patrice Dimig, great granddaughter of John Dominick Dimig, in 1972, gathered records of family history from church records. Jakob owned a 60 acre farm where he raised mostly wheat and barley. He and his family lived in Roden and walked to the farm each day to work. At the time of the 100 year family reunion in Atlantic, Iowa, the Roden farm was still being farmed by a descendant of Jakob and Elizabeth Dèumig.
