Roger, I just reread your email. The Gorrie’s were my first husbands family. Thomas Cullen Gorrie and Marie Harder Gorrie were his grandparents. Eliese was Marie’s younger sister and married to Edward F. Horstman. Something happened to Eliese. I think there were problems between her and Edward and I believe they separated. Paul & Dorothea Horstman were nephew & niese by marriage. LInda Richardson

Edward and Eliese did not have any children. I had her confused with her sister Anna. Do know they were separated or divorced after 1910. Not sure when Edward and Edith were married. I cannot find either of them in the 1920 census. In the 1930 Edith states that she was first married at the age of 18 which would have been around 1910 or 1911and that fits with her son Clifford W. Barry, b. 1912 in Montana.. Edward was 23 when he married Eliese. She died on Dec 12, 1966 in Lake City, Iowa. I will scan the picture I have and email it tomorrow. Will also send the rest of the family info to you.

Elise was a sister to Margarite Harder Gorrie. Margarite was my first husbands grandmother. I’m trying to put the Gorrie side together for my kids. My husband passed away in 1984. His Dad had given me some info but there isn’t anyone left in that family except my 2 sons.
