1 NOTE Cause of death: Colon Cancer. Preferred middle name “Beatrice”. She was small and attractive. Designed and sewed clothes for self and children. Had an undiagnosed heart condition dating to childhood.

January 1948 Anita Tribune Obituary for Mrs. John Dimig

 Memorial services for Mrs. John Dimig of Wiota were held at the Roland, Peacock and Baxter funeral home in Atlantic Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock.  The Rev. M. J. O'Connor of Wiota and Rev. P. N. McDermott of Atlantic officiating.  Burial was in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.
 Alma B. Wilson Dimig, 48, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Nina Wilson, was born March 3rd, 1899 in Jefferson, Iowa.  She came to Cass County with her parents when a small child and for many years lived in Anita and vicinity.  She grew to young womanhood in Anita community.
 She was married to John H. Dimig in Audubon in 1932 and has resided on a farm two miles southwest of Wiota for the past 14 years.  Mrs. Dimig had been in poor health for two and a half years and had been in the Atlantic hospital at different times for care and she passed away Sunday evening at 7:15 , after being in the hospital for only a short time after being taken to her home a few weeks ago.
 She leaves her husband, three children and three step-children, Marion, Carol and Joan Dimig at home.  John W. Dimig of Silver Springs, Md., Darlene Dimig of Omaha, and Marguerite Dimig at home.  One sister, Mrs. James McCosh of Anita.  A brother Merle Wilson of Anita died in 1944.
