Sioux City Journal - Thursday, 2-21-1946 MRS. VERONICA HART Mrs. Veronica K. Hart. 202 Bluff St., died in a hospital here Tuesday evening after a long illness. She was 72 years old. Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Friday morning in the Cathedral of Epiphany, with Rev. Thomas Parle conducting the funeral mass. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Hart was born in Illinois December 8, 1873, and moved to Danbury, IA., when a young girl. January 23, 1894 she was married to Frank Hart who died three years ago. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Benidick, Gardenia, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Haley, Sioux City; one son, Paul Hart, Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. August Horstman, Ida Grove, and Mrs. Ben Schimmer, Danbury; one brother, Frank Diimig, Danbury; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The rosary will be recited at the Manning chapel at 8 o’clock this evening. The body will remain at the funeral home until time of the service.
