Hi Linda,

You sent me the following text in an E-mail several years ago. I didn’t recognize the name “Gorrie” until just now. Please take a look at the attached post card written by Dora Horstman 1911 and 1915 to Mrs. T. C. (Thomas Cullen) (Marie) Goorie in Hayward, CA. Post card 3 was addressed to Elise Horstman and the text says “Dear Auntie and Uncle.” It is just amazing what I find on occasion. Please let me know what you think and if you know who these people in Hayward are. I do hope this is helpful for you in some way on your quest for “Gorrie family” information.

The following is your text.

“Elise was a sister to Margarite Harder Gorrie. Margarite was my first husbands grandmother. I’m trying to put the Gorrie side together for my kids. My husband passed away in 1984. His Dad had given me some info but there isn’t anyone left in that family except my 2 sons. “

You can see a picture of Paul and Dora Horstman along with Elise Harder Horstman if you go to my web site.

www.horstmanfamily.org

Click on “family tree” on the left and then click the names in blue to see the photos. Just click the photo once or twice to get a larger image.

I hope all is well with you and your family.

Have fun,

Roger
