Obituary - Theodore Schleimer - Funeral services for Theodore Schleimer were held Monday, June 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. The Rev. Thomas K. Malloy officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. He had reached the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 7 days. He was born Nov. 22, 1899 near Mapleton. He farmed in and resided in Mapleton ara all his life. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. His parents were Theodore Schleimer and Ottillia Schoenherr. Survivors include 5 brothers, Louis, Sylvester and Elmer, all of Mapleton, Emil and Leo, both of Danbury; 4 sisters, Mrs. John Erlemeier of Sioux City, Mrs. Leo Schimmer of Galva, Mrs. George Mohrhauser of Cresco, and Mrs. Lawrence McGrain of Mapleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Pallbearers were; Wayne Seuntjens, Everett McCall, Joe Dirksen, Dick Lefabvre, Leo Gotto and John Heisler.
