I know this is an old query but hope to make contact with you. My greatgrandfather was Sturley James Lemmon. He lived in Solomon KS in 1889 and 1890. He was a florist. My grandfather, Raymond was born in Solomon in 1882. My Sturley was a Civil War vet, Joined in PA. I have info on him from NARA I would be happy to share with you. Please contact me. I am most interested in finding out more on this family. Thanks, Jean Turner @sbcglobal.net

My mother, Helen Colvin, who is 87 now, had a cousin Sturley Lemmon, probably born in Pennsylvania. My mother, Helen Colvin Motheral, was born in Warren, Pennsylvania, 1915. She is still living and is very sharp. My mother’s father, my grandfather, was George Elmir Colvin., born in Elmira N. Y. I would be very pleased to locate a relative of my mother’s on the Lemmon side. My mother’s maiden name was Susan Lillian Lemmon; she had a number of siblings’ including Alice, Margaret and his wife Calvin, Howard, William, and more. Please let me know. Thanks.
