Former Resident Dies in Sioux City
Funeral services were held for Mr. Berchard (Pauline Schimmer) Eberhart of toledo at the St. Patrick’s church in Tama, April 18. She died April 15 at the University Hospital in Iowa City where she had spent the last two months. She underwent two operations for tumor of the brain and each time returned to her home, improved in health.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Jimmy, Judy, and Jacolyn, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schimmer, five sisters, Mrs. Sylvina Schrunk and Helen Schimmer of Danbury, Mrs. Mary Dolores Berg of N.Y., Mrs. Loretta Landrum and Miss rosin Schimmer of Calif. and two brothers, Charles Schimmer, U.S. Navy, San Diego and Pfc. Joseph Schimmer in Korea.
