Patrick McInroy is the the 10th and final child and the 6th son of James Patrick, 3rd Chieftain of the Clan McInroy of Lude (17 Oct 1799 in Barony, Lanark - 17 Apr 1878 in Birkenward, Bridge of Allan, Scotland) and his wife, Margaret Seton Lillie (09 Nov 1799 in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom - 28 April 1879 in Stirlingshire, Scotland, United Kingdom).
