OBITUARY: Tipton Conservative January 8, 2003 Funeral services for Otis Lewis Geadelmann, 84, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. Cathy Young officiating. The body was cremated. Mr. Geadelmann died Ja. 5 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a sudden illness. The son of Charles and Carrie Peters Geadelmann, he was born June 18, 1918 in Bennett. He graduated from Bennett high school in 1935. He married Leora Ball on July 5, 1947 in Bennett. Mr. Geadelmann was an agent for Standard Oil for 27 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. Mr. Geadelmann was amember of the Tipton Lion’s Club. He enjoyed furniture refinishing and repair, fishing and gardening. Mr. Geadelmann is survived by his wife; 2 daughters Patricia Geadelmann, Cedar Falls; Donna Hall and husband Jon, Cedar Falls; a son, Charles Geadelmann and wife Rhonda Hartman, Edina, Minn.; 4 grandchildren, Monica Sneed, Ft. Bragg, N.C.; Jenny Hall, Portland, Ore.; and Levi and Lucas Geadelmann, Edina, Minn.; and a sister Esther Bachus, Wilton. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Paul and Edwin. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
