MRS. VINCENT ENDRES MARCH 20, 1903

On Monday morning, March 16, at the family home in Charlotte township, occurred the death of Mrs. Vincent Endres, after an illness with erysipelas. Catherine Dubois was born in Woodford county, Illinois, June 9, 1856, and grew to womanhood there. November 26, 1878, she was united in marriage with Vincent Endres, and they remained in Woodford county until 1884, when they came to this county, residing on the Mrs. Wheeler farm southwest of this city. Two years later they moved to the farm home in Charlotte, where her death occurred. Mrs. Endres leaves, besides her hosts of friends, her bereaved husband and eight children, the eldest, Katie, being 22 years of age, to mourn the loss of a good neighbor, a devoted wife and a most admirable mother. She also has an aged mother, two sisters and three brothers living. The funeral was held on Wednesday at ten o’clock at SS. Peter and Paul’s church, Rev. J.J. Quinn officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the St. Patrick’s cemetery.
