Julia Ann Kirkpatrick was born on 11 Oct 1853 in Camp Point, Adams Co., Illinois. She died on 17 Dec 1919 in Parker, Linn Co., Kansas. Julia Kirkpatrick was born 11 October 1853 in Camp Point, Adams County, I llinois. She married on 27 December 1885 in the Cadmus/Parker area in L inn County, Kansas, Judson Payne, as his third wife. Judson was from N ew York. He moved to Wisconsin and married there Cornelia Walton, and m oved to Kansas in 1857. They had surviving twins. He was a veteran of t he Civil War and then became a Methodist Minister. After his first wif e died, he returned to Wisconsin and married Hannah Draper Burnap in 18 67, and had four more children. After her death, he married Julia. In 1 890 the family moved to Old Mexico to homestead. It was there that the ir youngest child was born. In 1894 they returned to Parker, Kansas. J udson died 15 June 1915 and Julia then lived with her daughter, Orpha. S he died 17 December 1919.
