Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Lahey Funeral Home, Lost Nation.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Union Presbyterian Church, Lost Nation, with the Rev. Paul Skelley officiating.
LOST NATION ? Helen M. Guyer, 89, of Lost Nation, died Saturday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Burial will be in Lost Nation Cemetery.
She was born March 2, 1918, south of Lost Nation to Jacob and Freida Ketelsen Petersen. She married Kenneth Guyer on May 5, 1939, in Nashua. He died in 1996.
She attended country school by Wheatland.
She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband northeast of Lost Nation for 60 years. After her husband?s death, she moved to Lost Nation.
She was a member of Lost Nation Union Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one brother, Elmer (Evelyn) Petersen of Baldwin; one sister-in-law, Mamie Petersen of DeWitt; one brother-in-law, Woodrow ?Woody? Horstmann of Big Rock; and numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
