The following was written by Donita 19 Jan 2006. By the way, my grandfather was killed in a plane crash (he was the pilot) in 1942 or 43. I would really like to find a newspaper article on it. He supposedly was killed in Kankakee County. Someday I would like to go back to Kankakee and check out the cemeteries and the courthouse. I am also interested in the death of Aunt Sarah’s daughter Dorothy.
